Referral marketing is all about amplifying your efforts, creating a bigger fire or adding to existing momentum. The trick lies in how to get the ball rolling in the first place.
These are some of the tips that we at EarlyParrot recommend when kick-starting your referral marketing campaign, irrespective of the campaign type:
- You will need a list. Even a small list like 50 subscribers will help. Import an existing list of subscribers to help kick-start the campaign. EarlyParrot integrates with MailChimp, Aweber and ConvertKit, making it easy to import your list of subscribers and keeping them synced. Once your list is imported, all your subscribers will automatically receive onboarding emails, inviting them to join your campaign and showing them how to share it. If you are not using an autoresponder, we also support CSV import.
- Subscribe to your own campaign and start hustling. Lead by example, subscribe to your own campaign and start inviting individuals in your network who will be interested in your idea. You can either invite them by entering their email address or else by connecting EarlyParrot to your Google Contacts.
- Social Media. Generate cover photos and update all your social media including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Share on social media to start getting initial traction.
- Email Signature. Add your campaign in your email signature to give your campaign extra exposure.
